on mission work two-by-two
The harvest's a big event
but the workers they are few
Pray for God to send others
Go like lambs in a wolf pack
Taking extra just smothers
Don't greet a soul on the track
Enter a house and say, "Peace!"
If you find peace-lovers there
then peace will only increase
So eat and drink what they share
Stay put, heal the sick and say
"The reign of God has come near"
but if they turn you away
rebuke them and disappear
Woe unto you Chorazin
Capernaum, Bethsaida too
Oh my, what trouble you're in
You reject God so you're through
Jesus had one thing to say
though the joy was really nice
a greater thing is in play
You are named in paradise
