Is that all There is?

Our leaders make mistakes you know
But we want them to overflow
With just perfection on the go
When we find faults we won't let go

It's impossible here below
But we don't like the status quo
And ask our leaders to forego
Such mercy that we could bestow

But all our leaders even so
Are flawed and weak from head to toe
They're merely human as we know
Just like all people here below

Well human rule is just so so
And sadly that's the status quo
But we want more and so we crow
When we should let the whole thing go
