Let's name the clouds up in the sky
Above six thousand meters high
Ice crystal Cirrus clouds do fly
Sometimes bad weather is nearby

The Alto clouds are not as high
Above two thousand meters high
To seven thousand in the sky
How do those water droplets fly

The Alto-cumulus imply
Maybe a summer storm oh my
The Alto-stratus can supply
A little light rain by and by

Are Stratus clouds that float nearby
Sometimes they're close to you and I
And so we call them fog thereby

Cumulus clouds are piled up high
Cumulonimbus you will spy
With anvil tops high in the sky
It's rain and thunder they supply
