What once was family true blueThe government has made askew
They want control and to subdue
The State will win, To our chagrin
And privacy will be taboo
So what do you think we should do
Is it too late to just undo
Five hundred years of ballyhoo
It's just for kin, To mix therein
So Church and State can kindly shoo
The Church must preach the Gospel true
But Mom and Dad can marry you
And without interference too
It's not a sin, For kith and kin
