Summer Survival

Summer's here we're cutting the grass
We want our lawns to look first class
And so we fill our tanks with gas
To keep up with the middle class

Summer's here we're fishing for bass
How many fish can we amass
We want the big one that's world class
Or we could catch nothing alas

Summer's here we'd just love a glass
Of lemonade in a tall glass
Or iced tea nothing could surpass
You can't get that in old Alsace

Summer's here no more English class
No more talk of atomic mass
And no need for a hallway pass
