The kids are gone alone at lastHow quickly all the years have passed
It seems they flew by really fast
Some times were tough some were a blast
And then the first one found a lass
He found a good one she's first class
The second one as time did pass
He found a gal also first class

There's just no living in the pastThe clock is set the die is cast
I sometimes wonder if we'll last
To see our grand kids as we've asked
While rearing kids has been a gas
They studied hard and they did pass
And we think that they're all world class
It's time for the baton to pass
