Grip of Death

So slavery is still around
And here is why I will expound
In overwork we've all been drowned
And family has run aground

We work too long let's all cut down
Or we'll have a nervous breakdown
The forty hours of world renown
Has long been gone it's been knocked down

The High Price of Materialism

We spend more time at work downtown
And time with family's put down
The neighborhood is a ghost town
And marriages become unwound

The Dollar, Euro and the Pound
As our new masters they've been crowned
We are their slaves our lives unsound
As we pursue them like a hound
