How to be a Gentleman

Whatever happened to respect
It's not politically correct
There's no courtesy — have you checked
Not on the road I almost wrecked

I wonder what we do protect
If we can't learn to show respect
We're all too selfish I suspect
So showing honor we neglect

Polite Society

Somehow there is a disconnect
Between what's wrong and what's correct
Perhaps we need to resurrect
That simple human trait respect

So may I humbly interject
And thus suggest that we direct
Some courtesy and thus infect
The whole world with unique respect
